So Uematsu Hidemi is back. Maybe. The Eternal Windnagareyuku kumoji haruka tooku kigi sasayaki
The clouds float into the distance, the trees stir from far away
While the beautiful flowers look up towards the dawning sky
The fleeting stars twinkle in the heavens
The blue protecting sky knows everything about the wind
Closing our eyes, a single drop slowly falls
Romaji from xayaka3fanxHajimari no Toki
When It Beginskanashimi ga yasashisa ni kawatte wakare ga deai wo yobiyoseru
Sadness changes into gentleness, separation calls for an encounterLife boku wo ikiru mogaki nagara demo jibun to yuu kokoro de
Each time each of those things are repeated I wonder if we become adults
Where will what you believe in take you to?
No one but me should know what the future brings
Life I live even though I am struggling in my heart
Life I cried yesterday, the stillness of yesterday all bridges to tomorrow
Before my eyes the door will open when it begins
Just finished watching MTV Iggy'sUnchangingkakurega ni sunda okina ga tada tooku wo mitsumeteita
And old man in his refuge just gazes into the distance
The infant cries longing for only his mother’s warmth
It’s always born atoning for someone’s sins and mistakes
There isn’t a future that can’t be saved
“Now” quietly becomes the past
We are always glossing over things
They are all just lies
In the falling rain something rises and fades away
Smile On
I found myself drifting, I'm lost and I'm sinking
So deep in a world that's so unreal
Why do I feel weary, I can't take it easy
I need to close my eyes and sleep away
And when I see their smiling face their happiness you can't erase
It's when you see the children play you will feel a sense of joy
And all of us would feel the same
Just keep believing everyday
Like children we can dream in every way
Yes we all deserve to shine
Smile on
The Asuka Riverkinou no fuchizo kyou no se ni naru
The darkness of yesterday becomes the hope of tomorrowzutto kawaranai mono ga aru no ka
This ancient song conveys what we feel right now
The leaf boat gently flows by drifting to the sea of tomorrow
Are there things that will never change?
Around and around we go into the city of dreams
Will we also disappear someday?
If only the strong binding promises begin to break
Like the water that floods and ceases to be
And yet leaves behind its sparkling dew
The star with the weakening light slowly dies outsora kara wa garasu tama no suiteki yasashiku furi tsudzuku yo
Once again the rain falls on the single standing flower
It's the small painful promises that last forever
From the sky the glass beads of water continue to slowly fall
Once it stops, it sinks deeply into the heart of the seven-colored bridge
I learned of the tsunami this morning on the radio while driving my dad's truck to go pick up my grandmother. I didn't realize how devastating it was until I saw the video clips.Mirror Moonsora ni izayou tsuki taoyaka ni eiko mitsumeteiru
In the sky the sixteen-day-old moon watches the graceful changes in our lives
And from this ancient world of ours a cloudless mirror of the moon is cast
Happy late New Year.A Crimson Shadehorohoro to hanabira chiruka taki no oto
The flower petals fall quietly to the sound of the waterfall
The drifting clouds in the sky are simply just beautiful
A thousand miles beyond the sky the flap of a bird's wings
Will eventually turn into a storm somewhere
Born without a name it carries its name and follows its fate
And leaves a hole that does not disappear
Searching for the flower in this fleeting moment of reality
Think of what those transient people hold in their eyes
A Butterfly's Dreamsunda kuuki ni somaru asayake
The transparent air is dyed the color of sunriseukiyo ureu koto sore wa hana ni namida sosogu koto
The dawn unravels and Shangri-la disappears
People get hurt and their grief is heard
Block your ears and close your eyes to get away from yourself
This fleeting life grieves for that flower we pour our tears into
Even the wild cloudy days rely on the support of the wind in
A butterfly's dream
Land of Beautyhana no chiriyuku mizukagami ni toki no garan no utsurou kage
The fall of the flowers reflect in the water the moment the temple’s shadow changes
As long as the scent of flowers in full bloom is right under the sky think of my Japan
I just realized I didn't post the track list for "Arrietty's Song" since I have finished translating, so here's another goodie from me! Enjoy.
