The H Project Transcriptions

Hello. NERO here.

I have finally finished transcribing all the songs in this album. It took me one and a half years to transcribe 15 tracks. Wow. Am I slow or what? But a great relief has suddenly lifted a burden off my shoulders. I hope you enjoy listening to the songs, and I pray and hope that you have heard their words.

Until next time.

Voices of a Forgotten History (Jon Thao)

Transcribed by NVVICIOUS

Voices of a Forgotten History
Generations upon a time where history scarred itself a fucked up face
Peace travel down a rugged path and became lost in its own existence
We have become the cavities stretched into society's fangs
Consecrated in the decay of our bloodstained past
So now our slained traditions in my veins
And though the pain is been instrumental
We continue to walk to different beats
Because there is no fuckin' peace

See I discovered the word "Hmong" pasted on the back of a milk carton with no reward
Chugged down by cultural braggadocios oblivious to the fact there was nothing more
Than assimulated holes
Victims of white America's oppression
And though their aggression
Once sung glorified songs of death and revolution
The weight of a guns supporting tickling my spine*
So I choose to kill with my tongue

Heaven (7th Day Rest)

Transcribed by NVVICIOUS

Heaven
Mister, mister, what's your name?
Come and tell me all your pain
Come and tell me what you need
Come and be with me

Heaven is closer than you know
Open up your eyes
Freedom is just a breath away*

Heaven is closer than you know
Open up your eyes
Freedom is just a breath away*

No More (P.H.oice)

Transcribed by NVVICIOUS

No More
I've seen the videos and witnessed what I did not know
My people suffer the pain that kept them years ago
I've seen the pictures of my Hmong crying out for help
My elders on their knees praying, "God, help us please."

No more no more
Will you suffer no more
For each soul that dies
One is born

Txhob qua txhob qua
So koj lub kua muag
Ua pa ib zaug ntxiv
Ua neeg nyob tsis yooj yim

No more no more
Will you suffer no more
For each soul that dies
One is born

War on the Inside (Ecnelis)

Transcribed by NVVICIOUS

War on the Inside
Walking over the ocean looking for reflections
But the tears fall down and ripples distort the images

I cannot see myself anymore
And I know that you know
There are just too many tears to count

These clouds are their faces
Their tears reveal something
That I need to know

This is the battle I'll fight
Fighting this war on the inside
The stakes are more than my own life
It's yours
